Within 24 Hours I received a notification stating that my blood has been delivered for a patient that required my blood type. It was a pleasure to donate my blood to help those in need. I am very please to hear that I have save someone life/s.

How long does it take to donate?
10 minutes. But allow for an hour for the whole appointment, which includes meeting with a friendly staff member before your donation and having a complimentary snack and drink after.
What happens to donated blood?
It changes lives. The person receiving your blood may have cancer, a difficult pregnancy or lifelong medical condition. You can help them live the ‘normal’ life we often take for granted.
