One of the most overlooked features of the Samsung Galaxy phones is the ability to emulate an Android based desktop with Samsung Dex. Unlike screen mirroring this gives you the ability to have a full desktop experience with a start menu and scaled windows as well as input from a keyboard and mouse.

With that in mind I've been exploring whether I can stop carrying my laptop if I'm going somewhere I know has screens and what are the benefits of using this instead of a normal PC or laptop. This option won't appeal to everyone, but if you have an office space or somewhere with monitors, keyboards etc, this is a great alternative to setting up a laptop or even a basic PC.
