May 10, 2024 Prayers and scriptures for the FIRST day of the NOVENA to the Holy Spirit for the coming and outpouring of the Holy Spirit as promised by the Father (Acts 1:4) This is the first novena recorded in the scriptures. Pray with the Apostles and Our Lady beginning with the Ascension of Jesus and culminating on Pentecost Sunday.
"Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And you shall renew the face of the earth. O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy his consolations, through Christ, Our Lord, Amen. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen."
