"e-motion" is an all-electric Tender 06 from Designboats of Switzerland.
The Designboats Tender 06 was built by Bootswerft Heinrich AG in Kreuzlingen, Switzerland and shipped to the Keefe-Kaplan Maritime Inc. (KKMI) boatyard in Richmond, California, where it was outfitted with the Torqeedo Deep Blue 80 electric outboard.
e-motion lives in Sausalito, California, where her owner, Herbert Schläpfer, will use her to enjoy many day trips around San Francisco Bay.
e-motion achieves over 31 MPH with a range of over 20 miles at planing speeds, and recharges in about 2 1/2 hours at 240VAC.
