Your “4.0 GPA” isn’t WILL NOT get you into an Ivy. If you want to have a strong enough application to make it into the top universities in the world, you need to do things that are unique, and that have no ceiling. If you spend all your time focusing on zero-sum competitions, like Rank or capped competitions like GPA and SAT scores, you’re wasting your energy. Instead, spend your time working on having a fantastic college essay, a passion project that is completely unique, and awards nobody else can get. There IS a limit to your GPA. There is NO limit to how good your Letters of Rec can be.
