Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the replacement ramp for your Yakima OnRamp bike rack. In this video, I'll show you how to replace it, why you might need to replace it and what other parts you might need replacing too. Bike racks with ramps usually need replacing because the ramps tend to get forgotten or left behind. Now in the case of the OnRamp, that's not usually the case because it's stored on the bike rack itself, but wear and tear does happen, and maybe you also use the ramp. This is gonna be your exact replacement part all the way down to the cushion on the back to work with your bike rack. To replace it, if you still have the old bike rack's ramp, you can then just remove it by loosening this knob here and lifting the ramp up and out.
In fact, usually this knob is what needs replacing because people tend to lose it. The height and the width of your new ramp is going to be the exact same. They are side by side for comparison. So grab your new ramp and pop that right back onto your rack. So it's nice to know that if anything goes wrong with your bike rack, it's really easy to replace it.
And you can find those parts here at etrailer. So whether it's the pin or the wheel straps or the ramp knob, you can find them, especially in the related parts of our product pages here at etrailer. But this is a look at the replacement ramp for your Yakima OnRamp bike rack.
