Story A Description:
OP is a 45 year old man and has been married to his wife for 15 years. They have a very good marriage, and the only issue they’ve ever had between them was OP’s mother in law. She was widowed ten years ago, and ever since has latched onto her daughter as a replacement for her father. She is insanely critical of OP and his children, and is constantly trying to convince
OP’s wife to leave him. She makes negative comments on her grandchildren’s appearance, and has even tried to frame OP for cheating. OP insisted that this year, they spend Christmas with his family rather than with her, and his wife agreed, as she too is finally getting sick of her mother’s
drama. MIL didn’t take the news well, and after finally making her understand, OP thought that they were safe. When OP arrives at his own mother’s house for Christmas along with his family, he finds his MIL is there. OP tries to convince his wife to ask her to leave, but she is scared of the confrontation. The MIL starts causing a scene, upsetting everybody and being rude to OP’s family, so he decides that he has to do something. He gives his MIL regular milk in her coffee rather than dairy free, knowing that she’s lactose intolerant, and she ends up spending the entire time in the bathroom. OP is happy with himself, but his wife is furious once she finds out what he’s done
