(10 Mar 2022) Some 900 Romanian and U.S. Army soldiers have been conducting military drills at a training center in eastern Romania, according to the Romanian Defense Ministry.
Dubbed "Justice Eagle 22.1", the exercises started on March 2 and were due to end on Thursday, March 10.
The training, which involved tanks and armored vehicles, was being held at the Land Forces' Secondary Combat Training Center in Smardan.
The exercises are held annually in Romania to "increasing interoperability among the NATO-member armed forces," the Romanian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
