His remaining scenes were completed with digital face mask renderings taken from scenes earlier for facial reference. To fully recreate his final scenes, body doubles, screens tests, audio from outtakes and rehearsals were used. Incorporating sound mixing and CGI rendering techniques, the overall effect is hardly noticeable. Not many new of this fact because, Oliver Reed's death wasn't publicized until after the film's release.
