This video is the first of a series I’m posting that documents the new build project. The Ritchey Road Logic is a classic steel frame, BSA thread fit bottom bracket, external cable routing, rim brake rig. Great styling, superb welds, nifty design details, and colors that speak the same language as The Unabiker.

More riders ought to be on steel frames because they’re, plain and simple, better rides, suitable for the vast majority of riders. Let’s face it, carbon is not a lively road feel, and unless you’re really a serious rider with racing ambitions or weekend pretense, it’s merely weight savings at an up charge. Carbon designs are cool, seductive and you should have one of them…too, but ride steel, and in addition to natural material property compliance, also eliminate all the headache of dealing with carbon frame crap manufacturing tolerances. Steel frame bottom bracket eccentricity, or X/Y plane parallelism anomalies are, while they’re not nonexistent, they’re almost that, few and far between. Thread fit is a standard for a reason, not for a marketing edge.

The Road Logic is a time tested, bug free design. You get on this bike, and it feels like you’ve known it a very long comfortable time.

If you love riding, but all you know is a frame that’s baked in a mold, open your mind to steel! It’s a level of craftsmanship that has justly deserved it’s legacy.
