Trump supporters clashed with police as they stormed barricades and streamed inside the Capitol building in Washington DC on January 6, as Congress convened for the Electoral College vote count.
Footage filmed by Brendan Gutenschwager shows protesters marching through the halls of the Capitol Building.
“The crowd rushes a line of police attempting to block access to inner parts of the Capitol,” Gutenschwager wrote in his description of the scene. “Police are forced to retreat and stand down,” he added.
