Davis, WV is located in the northern portion of the Canaan Valley, West Virginia near Canaan Valley State Park. It is partially surrounded by the Monongahela National Forest and is close to Blackwater Falls State Park.
At 3,100 feet, Davis has the highest elevation of any town in West Virginia.
Davis is renowned for its mountain biking in the surrounding area. It is also known for skiing, both x-country and downhill resorts in the area.
