Although I have managed to condition the output laser beam so that its original diameter and intensity are projected into the work area, the amazing cutting potential have not been realized. I accidentally discovered that it does fantastic things for engraving provided i use a compound lens but that was not my objective. This session is all about trying to decode why that super high intensity is not being amplified as it passes through a lens.
