It's been a while, folks! Sorry about that. Here's a nice long update video.
Nightfall is going swell -- just a little slow! -- and in this video, I talk about the biggest change to the mod this year: rebuilding the designed world of Nightfall using Blender with brand new connections and expansions to existing areas, so that maps don't sit on top of each other and enemy navigation meshes can actually do their jobs.
Thank you as always to everyone who's supported us on Patreon or just with your kind words. This behemoth of a fan project is actually getting somewhere, and I weep with joy now that we're starting to forget about collisions, navmeshes, and map draw groups while doing exciting questline design and boss playtesting.
As mentioned in the video, in future, I'm going to try a different update strategy that doesn't involve quite as much production effort by publishing text/image posts on my website (link below). I'll tweet such updates when they go up!
As always, it's super hard to keep avoiding giving away spoilers for Nightfall, especially after this long, but ultimately, we know it's those initial player reactions and that first-playthrough feeling of sheer novelty that will be the biggest reward for us.
