20 years have passed since Sunnydale was destroyed. Buffy Summers and her friends have spent the last decade living in peace. An ancient prophecy foresaw a powerful slayer who would defy death and tip the scales of good and evil forever. In anticipation of this a plan was put into motion long ago to use her calling against her - a brainwashed army of slayers have one goal - to eliminate Buffy Summers. With the first evil back in action, a resurrected master and a hell god bent on revenge, Buffy, Faith and the rest of the scoobies must work together to stop armageddon and save the world from being swallowed by evil.
