After the German invasion of Belgium (1940) was completed there were pro-Axis Belgian volunteers. In this video we'll be discussing the Walloons. These served in the Walloon Legion and later as Waffen-SS volunteers in the SS Assault Brigade Wallonia (SS-Sturmbrigade Wallonien). In 1944 this unit was renamed to 28th SS Volunteer Grenadier Division Wallonia (28. SS-Freiwilligen-Grenadier-Division Wallonien). This was facilitated by the Belgian fascist party: the Rexist Party led by Léon Degrelle. This video talks about Belgian Waffen-SS volunteers from Walloon descent.
