Single Point AF (Auto Focus) is a specific focusing mode found in many digital cameras, especially DSLRs (Digital Single Lens Reflex) and mirrorless cameras. It is a mode used to control how the camera's autofocus system selects and locks onto a specific area of the scene to ensure sharp focus on the subject.
In Single Point AF mode, the photographer manually selects a single focus point (usually represented by a small square or dot) from a grid of available focus points within the camera's viewfinder or on the LCD screen. This selected point is where the camera's autofocus system will concentrate its focusing efforts.
