One of the officers responding to the more recent shooting was heard talking to a passerby who asked "why were they even shooting?"
The unidentified officer replied: "Because it's the Short North. This happens all the time. People f*****g come down here like it's some great place to be."
Another officer then added later as he was taking a victim to a hospital: "Just another night in the Short North."
