Given how vast this topic is, I decided to put together a guide that’ll hopefully help investors who have questions about how dividends are taxed and what to expect from different types of dividend-paying investments. But before we get started, I have to make a few disclaimers. The information in this video applies to investors in the United States. So things can differ significantly if you’re outside the U.S., and you’ll need to check your own local laws and regulations to determine how much of this information applies to you if you’re not in the U.S.
