Learn how state-of-charge (SoC) algorithms are modeled in Simulink®.
SoC estimation is needed to predict the remaining charge of a battery cell. You also use it for cell balancing in some battery management systems. This video shows three ways to estimate SoC:
- Coulomb counting
- Unscented Kalman filters
- Extended Kalman filters
