Brother Chidananda, president and spiritual head of Self-Realization Fellowship/Yogoda Satsanga Society of India, leads a guided meditation on Paramahansa Yogananda’s chant “In the Temple of Silence.”
This guided meditation focuses on visualizing and feeling the peace and bliss sung about in this chant and the experience of darshan — the blessings that one receives from being in the presence of a true guru or saint, in this instance Paramahansa Yogananda himself.
The guided meditation begins with Brother Chidananda extoling the value of all of the Yogananda’s Cosmic Chants, stating that each one can be “a door through which we absorb ourselves into that perception” which Yogananda himself experienced when composing that particular song to the Divine.
