Written and Composed by Jagadguru Shri Kripaluji Maharaj
Book: Prem Ras Madira, Dainya Madhuri, Pad No. 102
Hamem to,eka tihari asa
(O Shyamasundara! You are my one and only hope.)
kahu ke kahu ko bala hari, hamahim tumahim vishvasa
(People place their faith in so many persons and things in the world, but my faith is in You alone.)
kou kara yoga, yajna danadika, kou kara kashivasa
(Some people engage in yoga , some perform Vedic sacrifices, some people engage in charity, others repeatedly chant incarnations or mantras, or observe vows like fasts and so on.)
kou kara charidhama tiratha aru, kou kara kashivasa
(Some people even go on pilgrimage to the four sacred dhamas. Some people choose to stay in the sacred city of Kashi.)
kou kara asa svarga apavargahim, kou baikuntha vilasa
(Some people desire the celestial abodes and others desire liberation from this world. Some devotees are attracted by the spendour of Vaikuntha, where You reside in Your majestic four-armed form as Narayana. )
hama 'kripalu' gopala! tiharihim, karata asa bani dasa
(Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj says," However, I have faith in You alone, O Gopala, having chosen to be Your eternal servant.")
