Cottage cheese ice cream is all the rage, but is it better when you use an ice cream maker? We're gonna find out with this peaches and cream recipe! And yes, I made up this cottage cream ice cream parody from Fresh Prince of Bel-air. Please enjoy or make fun of me....my kids do!

Here's the recipe I made up (inspired by Jim at @NewfieLifestyle )
16 oz small curd cottage cheese, full fat
1 banana
1 peach (more if you desire)
1/4 cup stevia confection sugar (I used Pyure brand)
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
*optional*
4 crushed sheets of graham crackers
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1. Blend all ingredients (except graham crackers and walnuts) in a blender until nice and smooth.
2. pour mix into an ice cream machine. I used Cuisinart which I had to freeze the ice cream bowl overnight. Make sure to have the machine turned on before you pour in the mixture. Churn ice cream until done, about 17 minutes.
3. Scoop into a container with lid, pour on graham crackers and walnuts if using and swirl into mixture with a spoon. freeze for an additional 2 hours or until desired firmness is achieved.
4. Enjoy! This will save but keep in mind you'll need to let it sit out for about 10 minutes before scooping as it does become very hard.
