Hi everyone! In this video I’ll show you how to sew this gorgeous mandarin collar, bishop sleeve, front placket maxi dress from a lovely chiffon.
I’m using my Audrey PDF downloadable sewing pattern, get it here:

Here are the materials you’ll need:
- 2.35-5.5 m (2.5-6 yds) of woven fabric (depends on the length of the dress).5 m (.6 yds) interfacing
- Loop turner tool
- 4-6 buttons for the cuffs and closure
- matching thread
- glasshead pins
- scissors
- measurement tape
- Audrey pattern
Originally I made this dress using a patterned chiffon, and for this tutorial I’ll be using a lilac gray chiffon. It has such a beautiful flow and drape, so it’s absolutely perfect for this elegant dress.
I recommend using a light-medium weight woven fabric such as cotton lawn, viscose, silk, chiffon, or georgette.
