Archive #2 goes back to August 31th of 2009 when the four original members of the almighty Slayer were in a parisian hotel talking to the press about their new record at the time entitled "World Painted Blood".
Although many (including myself) always considered Jeff to be the best songwriter in Slayer, media's first instinct when requesting an interview with the band was often to ask for either Kerry King or Tom Araya (they would also be easier to reach for doing interviews) and I have to give credits here to my then editor-in-chief who was adamant about doing the interview with Jeff this time around since he was here.
In those excerpts, Jeff talked about some of his infamous twisted lyrics and having his inspiration back for "World Painted Blood" (which sadly turned out to be his final record). He also praised Dave Lombardo's impact on Slayer and Tom Araya's lyrics (I remember he told me off the interview his favorite song on the album was "Beauty Through Order", in part because he loved Tom's lyrics on this one) and producer Greg Fidelman. This interview also hapenned after the first tour Slayer did with Megadeth since the Clash Of The Titans '91 (that was before the Big 4 tour became a reality) and Jeff discussed about reconnecting with Dave Mustaine.
