Young tiger Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao aka Jr NTR is a famous actor in Tollywood film industry. He is a Telugu film actor, playback singer and also accomplished Kuchipudi dancer. As the child artist he played as lord Rama in 1996 movie Ramayanam, which earned him 'National Film Award for Best Children's Film'.
Some of his best films are Aadi, Simhadri, Yamadonga, Adhurs, Brindavanam, Temper and Nannaku Prematho. Jr NTR has won two state Nandi Awards, one Filmfare Best Telugu Actor Award and three CineMAA Awards. He is also into politics and is an active member in his grandfather's political party, the 'Telugu Desam Party (TDP)'.

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao jr was born on 20 May 1983 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. He has done his schooling from Vidyaranya High school and completed his intermediate from St.Mary's College, Hyderabad. At an early age he has learned the classical dance form Kuchipudi. During his school days, he has won many awards for his dance performance in India and Abroad. Taraka Rama is the brand ambassador for Malabar Gold, Himani Navaratna Oil, Boro Plus Powder and Zandu Balm in Andhra Pradesh. He is also part of several charitable works.
