Cave Creek Regional Park is located at 37019 N Lava Ln, Cave Creek, AZ 85331.
Spur Cross Ranch is designated as a "Limited use public recreation and conservation area. Its banks are covered with plants and trees, including mesquite, cottonwoods and willows. Abundant water and plant life make this a home to many species of animals including javelina, mule deer, and coyotes. The park contains nearly 90 archaeological sites used by the Hohokam between 700 - 1200 A.D.
At Cave Creek Regional Park, you will find a scenic, 2,922-acre desert destination offering winding multi-use trails, campgrounds & picnic spots.
Located about 35 miles north of Downtown phoenix this park sits in the upper Sonoran Desert at an elevation from 2,000 feet to 3,060 feet.
Cave Creek offers a hiking trail for every skill level. Some of the trails are shared with horseback riders and non-motorized bicycles.
The Cave Creek area has a rich archeological foundation. Dozens of prehistoric sites have been discovered.
