More than 50 hearing implant recipients joined Virtual Voices & Band for this rendition of Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy”. Their videos were filmed virtually and edited together to create one music performance for the Sound Sensation music festival. Featuring singers and musicians from over 22 countries, this unique recording shows that even with hearing loss, you can still make incredible music.
Sound Sensation: The MED-EL Music Festival
We’re celebrating the incredible talents of our hearing implant recipients with Sound Sensation. This free, virtual music festival brings together implant users from around the world to show that, even with hearing loss, you can enjoy music to the fullest.
Streaming online from 6 October, the packed schedule includes mini concerts, insightful shows, and webinars for hearing professionals. And to finish it all off, the Grand Finale event showcases some of our best-performing musicians, who will be joined on stage by internationally renowned stars.
