This satirical take on Cliff Richard and Eurovision might be less acceptable now – in 1964, it was probably OK.
In 1964, the Cambridge Circus, including (L-R)John Cleese, Jonathan Lynn, Humphrey Barclay, Graeme Chapman, Jo Kendall, Tim Brooke-Taylor and Bill Oddie, recorded several shows in New Zealand.
At the time, they were fresh out of Cambridge University, but most of them would go on to become household names in British comedy.
