An ancient dance going back into prehistory, the Comanches were recorded doing the Round Dance by a Dutchman named Herman Ten Kate in the late 1800's. He traveled the Southwest and visited the Comanches, who among other things were also recorded doing the Gourd Dance. This view is from the inside of the circle because lighting was poor looking from the spectator's perspective.
