So guys this is the first thing that I would look at especially if you're giving it gas and it won't rev up. The spark arrestor is for stoping sparks from causing a fire but it also prevents critters from making a nest or clogging it up. Unfortunately, if you use a rich mix or an improper oil it can also clog the exhaust screen . This is quick and easy to check and is a very very common problem, especially in older two strokes. Make this one of your annual service item checks when you do air filter and plug changes.
