I know, dating apps and matching apps all have a negative impact on our love life in some way. They are here to stay, because they give so many people an opportunity to meet others they normally would never encounter!
Tinder is one of the largest. In Japan, Tinder was the first to lay out the online dating app scene and many other applications came to follow. So why is Tinder in Japan so bad?
- Remains to have the highest number of unregulated accounts.
- Seen by most people as a place for adult work or adult substances.
- Does not encourage verified profiles as well as others.
Tinder may be the app you will see advertised in Shibuya, but if you want my dating advice, you're better off using another app. Bumble or Hinge have much less of this fake profile or one night stand problem.
If you're confident with you Japanese, I recommend using PAIRS or TAPPLE. These are both Japanese matching apps. If you are traveling to Japan soon because of Japan's borders opening on October 11th and you want to connect with a diverse group of people including Japanese and foreigners, Bumble is the way to go.
Do you use matching apps, and what are your thoughts on them?
I have helped many men and women update their profile and increase their success of finding good dates. If you're interested in having your profiled looked over, you can always send me a DM on instagram!
