A disgruntled koala growled at an Australian man who rescued the animal from the side of the road in southern Queensland.
Footage uploaded by Lozz Wright shows her dad sporting heavy duty gloves, picking up the marsupial as it tries to break free from his clutches before he is released to a nearby tree.
Wright told Storyful that they witnessed several drivers swerve to avoid the koala, before pulling over and carrying it to safety. She also said that her father had “rescued multiple koalas before” including one that had been hit by a car.
