What is Amazon Vine?
Amazon Vine is a customer review program that enables Amazon sellers to put their products in the hands of Amazon reviewers who have been invited by Amazon to participate in Amazon Vine. These reviewers (called Vine Voices) were selected for their ability to post insightful reviews on their Amazon purchases. How does Vine work?
Eligible sellers can access Vine in Seller Central via the Advertising tab. They will be able to enroll and make their eligible offers available to Vine Voices right away. During enrollment, sellers can select the entire family or a limited subset of variations for each enrollment. Vine Voices will immediately be able to request a unit of the enrolled product and to post their review after they receive it.
What are the seller eligibility criteria?
Professional sellers who have registered in Brand Registry and have the Brand Representative role for the product they want to enroll can participate in Vine. However, not all products or offers from eligible sellers can be enrolled in Vine. See “What are the product eligibility criteria?” for more information about product and offer eligibility.
What are the product eligibility criteria?
In order for an offer to be eligible for Vine, we request that the seller who is enrolling the item is a registered agent for the brand. See “What are the seller eligibility criteria?” for more details about seller eligibility. Offers need to be FBA offers with available inventory and with less than 30 reviews already published on the detail page (for more details about the number of reviews requirement see “how does the review limit work?”). In addition, the enrolled products need to have an image, a description, a title, and other ASIN level or offer level attributes properly set up to be eligible for Vine.
How does the review limit work?
Only items with less than 30 reviews published on the detail page can be enrolled in Vine. If an item reaches 30 reviews after enrollment, the remaining units that have not yet been claimed by Vine Voices will become unavailable for Vine Voices to request and your enrollment will be concluded.
I enrolled an item in Vine but did not get a review; will I pay for this enrollment?
No, we bill you after the publication of the first Vine review.
Can reviewers select any enrolled product?
We target each unit enrolled in Vine to a select subset of Vine Voices based on the interest they have shown for similar products. As time passes, and if units remain to be claimed, we expand the population of targeted reviewers until we propose these products to all our Vine Voices.
I am seeing an error message while trying to enroll; how can I fix this?
Most enrollment errors will generate a message that specifies why you cannot complete the enrollment. Your product might not have any eligible FBA offer, might be missing an image, or might simply be ineligible for Vine. Please refer to the Vine errors page.
Why were some of my units not reviewed?
There is no deadline for Vine Voices to write reviews for the products they receive through Amazon Vine. We monitor the active participation of reviewers in the program, and they may be removed from Vine if they do not meet our participation criteria.
If a Vine Voice does not review their Vine unit, can I get the unit back?
No, we cannot guarantee reviews will be posted for all enrolled units and cannot return any product to you. Our commitment per the terms and conditions is to do our best to distribute the inventory.
I received a negative review; can I contact the reviewer?
As per our terms and conditions, we prohibit any contact between Vine Voices and sellers other than for the purpose of regular customer support. You should not request a Vine Voice to contact you directly, nor should you attempt to contact them to talk about their reviews, their participation in the program, or to try to have them review other products you sell. We do not provide customer's addresses or other personal information in order to respect their privacy. Any attempt to contact Vine Voices will lead to an investigation and potential revocation of your seller account.
I believe this review is not within the guidelines; can you remove it?
