In this month of June one of the most interesting and special astronomical phenomena of the year arrives. The sky will impact us with the Strawberry Supermoon in the sign of Sagittarius ♐️

This will be the first of the three Supermoons that we will be able to observe this 2022: the next ones will occur in July and August. And all of them will really leave us speechless .

Strawberry Supermoon: when and where to see it

The Strawberry Supermoon will take over the sky on June 14 , just a week before the solstice that will mark the change of season.

During the dawn of that day it will be seen in its maximum splendor; however, throughout the following two nights we will also be able to enjoy its imposing presence.

And like all full Moons , its show will transcend borders and will be visible from anywhere on the planet. Of course, the less light pollution there is, the better it will look.

Luckily, it can also be seen with the naked eye . Due to its spectacular size, it will not be necessary to use binoculars, filters or telescopes.

What is a Supermoon?
According to what NASA reports, a Supermoon occurs when the orbit of our natural satellite is closest to Earth and is also in its full phase.

It is that the point of the orbit closest to our planet is known as perigee.
