Testing new functionality in the field reveals so much--here's one we happened to record for you. Background: Everyone wanted to see metadata about their building elements when those were overlaid on site. Whether it's part number or bolt size or object dimensions--that details can be impossible to find when you want it. But on a good project, all of that information is stored in Revit parameters.
Argyle designed Click Inspector brings Revit parameters on to the jobsite, and in the office it did just that! In the field--not useful yet. So it's time for more AR interaction design. We'll spend the next few weeks honing this functionality, making sure that metadata appears in a user-friendly way before releasing it.
On a preview walk of the planned Mechanical and plumbing systems at Asante Hospital in Medford Oregon, Maret tests click inspector. From Revit, click Argyle tab, Upload model to see all trade models in AR on site.
