Bucket list ticked off just before Halloween! I played Phantom of the Opera on a HAUNTED PIANO at Her Majesty's Theatre where Andrew Lloyd Webber's @phantomoftheopera has played for over 36 years! This was during the interval, and there is a piano at the Dress Circle bar, so what else can an aspiring pianist and composer do but to have a little play?

I did not expect the Phantom to get annoyed and interrupt me, but maybe he wanted a piano battle! Was a little worried about all the smoke, but not the Phantom or the smoke can stop me!

I have heard the musical before and seen bits of it on TV and YouTube, but this was the first time I have ever seen it, and it was amazing. Christine was played by Holly-Anne Hull, and she was brilliant. The Phantom was James Gant, and in my head they were singing the parts as I was playing it. It certainly helps having watched them live and feeling the raw emotion in their performances.
