Jeegujje/Breadfruit Sambar is a very tasty innovative dish with a mouthwatering flavor and aroma. It is coconut and fried masala that makes this Sambar a very unique and special dish.
This dish goes well with rice, roti, almost everything. This is one of the easiest of dishes that requires minimum ingredients.
Breadfruits are widely cultivated in Kerala. In Kerala, Breadfruit is referred to as “Kadachakka” or “Sheemachakka”. This is one that used to grow in almost everyone’s backyard in Kerala. There are many ways of cooking Breadfruit and this sambar is one of the simple recipes.
