Trying to decide between the Bajaj Pulsar P150 or N160 and the Suzuki Gixxer? Three things to think about. First, the Bajajs are now excellent city machines with torque, ride comfort and on the top version of the N160, dual-channel ABS. Compared to those, the Gixxer feels like it has less torque and obviously, it only comes with single-channel ABS which is something Suzuki really should fix. But, second, can they? The Gixxer's price is so much higher than the Bajaj that a single-channel ABS version would push prices to unrealistic levels. The serious savings you make picking either Pulsar over the Gixxer is crazy. Third, what the Suzuki still has over all of its competition is that sense of build, finish and product quality though. It does feel like it's made better but we're afraid (and the sales figures underline this) that that won't be enough to sway customers today.
