This Wizard rider was having an issue with the stator shorting out at the plug, likely a bad diode. I swapped out the stator but the mower kept shearing flywheel keys. I believe it was a combination of improperly torqued flywheel bolt, soft aftermarket keys as well as a bulletin about these specific engines shearing keys.
