This was the charity ride that even Covid-19 couldn't stop!
After completing 8 of their planned 9 days riding 900km from Canberra to Melbourne, as part of the ROC Inc Ride4Research, several of the 16 riders tested positive and the last leg had to be postponed.
But a month later they were back, completing the journey from the outskirts of Melbourne to the MCG.
It was all in the name of raising funds for research into rare ovarian cancers, and Hudson Institute researcher Dr Simon Chu rode every kilometre.
But the star of the show was 8-year-old Neve, the youngest person diagnosed with ovarian cancer in Australia (aged just 11 months!), who proudly led them all across the finish line.
