Purple Haze (Live) - The Jimi Hendrix Experience
Testing the waters with this. I recently learned that when you submit a copyright dispute, after 48 hours there are no viewing restrictions on the video while the dispute is in process (up to 30 days.) So, this video that was blocked worldwide (should) now be totally fine until the copyright dispute is settled. My appeal could be denied, in which case this video would go back to being blocked worldwide, but if successful, the video would stay viewable without me having to alter the audio in any way. If my copyright dispute gets rejected, I already have a backup plan with external audio, which is linked here:

Oh boy, where do I begin? Another fantastic song. Again, it's incredible that Activision was able to license these songs AND Jimi Hendrix's likeness to be a character in the game nearly 4 decades after his untimely death.
So this song has a couple tough squeeze. I was able to get 1st place by 192 points, so that's cool. The 1st activation isn't hard, but there's reverse ticks that are easy to miss. The 2nd act is kinda tough because you need a decent front end to be able to get that YB in at the end. I found myself red-flaming the front end of that one a lot. The 3rd activation is by far the hardest. I activate on the Blue sustain SP note, but apparently you can still hit the back end if you activate on the note before (I was never able to get it). This is really fucking hard to do because 1.) it's a hammer on, 2.) You need to hit it late, and 3.) You need to whammy immediately. I also strum the note, because I found I was always red-flame the front if I didn't strum it. So we have a ton of actions being done at the same time: Hitting the fret late, strumming, hitting select, and whammying. Try doing that with your own guitar at home, it's not that simple. The back end lands on an SP YB sustain, but you want the SP to run out before the 2nd YB sustain. It doesn't really matter where the SP ends, because the next activation ends on a long GB sustain, so you don't really lose ticks (I think, there may be some tempo/time signature fuckery going on). Even though I'm whammying instantly after hitting that YB sustain, SP still runs out during it, so I'm sure the 3/4 time signature is what causes that. Also, it's a visual glitch that the whammy isn't blue like it should be; I still earn SP from it. Last act is easy, all that matters is the front end.
Very happy with this score, and very happy that I never had any troubles actually FCing this song. I got really good at that zigzag slider section throughout my play sessions lol
