The Bareun Party and the Justice Party are closely monitoring the situation at their respective election headquarters in western Seoul.
The splinter conservative Bareun Party says it has high hopes as young voters have showed support in opinion polls when around a dozen of its lawmakers defected last week.
The party's candidate, Yoo Seong-min, will visit the party's HQ later in the day once the results start pouring in.
The progressive Justice Party says it is eyeing double-digit support from voters.
The party's candidate Sim Sang-jung plans to broadcast live on social media until counting begins,... she'll be encouraging voters to cast their ballots.
Sim will also visit the party's election headquarters once results start filtering in.
