Angelika Kluk, a 23-year-old student from Poland, was staying at the chapel house of St Patrick's Church in Glasgow when she suddenly disappeared. Authorities soon find the culprit to be a convicted sex offender by the name of Peter Tobin.

This new documentary series explores how specialist forensic teams and detectives collate the evidence discovered at the scene of a murder to catch Britain's killers. From the moment a body is discovered, the evidence gathered and decisions made in these early stages known as the “Golden Hour” can be crucial to link the killer to the crime scene and solve the case. Told through a series of laboratory tests and firsthand testimony this series delves deep into the vast array of crime scene evidence, following the twists and turns of each investigation and showing exactly what it takes to put the killer at the crime scene and secure a conviction
