Hi guys! Christmas is around the corner! Here’s my Nanay’s Suman Malagkit recipe as part of my Noche Buena recipe series. In our dialect, we call this Budbud, it reminds me of Pasko sa Pinas. Budget-friendly, delicious and truly a staple of our Christmas growing up. Now that I am abroad, I want something that will remind me of the so-called, “taste of home” It’s so good and I hope you’ll give this recipe a try. Thank you very much for watching.
INGREDIENTS:
2 1/2 Cups Coconut Milk
5 Cups Glutinous Rice
18 grams Ginger, peeled
1/2 kilo Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
