Here I am on the road again, this time with a little frustrated rant. It might be because I just don't get it. This ride features a Nature paper from the Harris Lab at UCL, famous for this ever-increasing ability to record from more and more neurons in the brain. This time, the lab is using Neuropixel probes to record from more than 30,000 neurons in 42 brain regions simultaneously. The question is, what do we learn about the brain from these huge data sets?
