While watching E.T., Chandler’s friends discover that Chandler can’t cry and are on a mission to find something that will make him tear up. They show him old photos from his childhood, but that didn’t work. Chandler wanted to know if a sad story from the book ‘Chicken Soup for the Soul’ would make him cry, but Monica catches him reading. She tries to trick Chandler by telling him it’s ok if he can’t cry and talks to him about their future together at their wedding, when their child is born, and when she die, but nothing works.
