The Grill.

Hello, everybody, it is a beautiful day ins Switzerland and we are going on a little walk. We brought our little grill along and we are going to grill something that I have never seen eaten in the US. So, check it out.
We just made it to the top of this little hill. It's probably my favorite hill in our valley. Its called Bolleren. Anyways, we've got our little grill here. this was actually a birthday present from Laura last year and it is a little portable charcoal grill. It has got these little legs that fold out and then you just put it on its end like this and put the charcoal in here lite it on fire. When the charcoal is ready you flip it over like this and you have got a nice surface to cook your meat on. Alright, our grill is heating up here and I'm sure at this point you are wondering what are we going to cook. well, check it out. That's right in Switzerland we eat horse. they do. I was very surprised when I first came to Switzerland. Actually, I think we were talking on the phone and you were eating some of this. it is like roast beef kind of. Its like sandwich meat but it is horse. And I asked you what you were eating and you told me that you were eating horse and I was like. Are you serious? Swiss eat horse. That is so weird. Actually, the roast beef stuff is okay, but it kind of has an iron taste I think. But it also comes as steak. Horse Steak, and it even has a picture of a beautiful horse on there. It says horse line. Just in case you forget you are eating a horse. So the Steak is actually really good. It's lean. I like it a lot. Yeah, it tastes great. I googled how to cook a horse and there is just not a lot on google on cooking horses. So I'm just going with my brother's method. He says just use salt and pepper. So I'm just grilling this horse today with salt and pepper. I think the Americans don't eat horse because it causes the coronavirus. sure. Yep. So we have determined our horse is finished. I have my other birthday present witch is a fork. It's huge. Huge. Where is your fork? It goes way out and it is perfect for our little grill. It's good I think it tastes almost identical to steak. It's hot. It's also hot. Want to use my fork? No. I've never heard of anybody eating horse in the US and when I learned that the Swiss eat horse and it is like an everyday thing. It's on the shelf in the grocery store. Its no problem. It was kind of weird. I'm interested. Does this weird other Americans out our would other Americans eat horse if they had the opportunity.
