Mumtaz or Mumtaz Madhvani is a Hindi Film actress. She was born on 31 July 1947 in Mumbai, India. Her father Abdul Saleem Askari. Her mother Shadi Habib Agha who hailed from Mashhad, Iran.

Her younger sister is actress Mallika. Mumtaz is married to Businessman Mayur Madhvani. The couple has two daughters Natasha Madhwani and Tanya Madhwani. Actor Fardeen Khan is her son-in-law. She has a Daughter in law Diani Isabella Khan.
