James Newton Howard has scored over 100 major films, including "Signs," "King Kong," "Pretty Woman," "The Sixth Sense," as well as this year's "Jungle Cruise" and "Raya and the Last Dragon." Lately, he's been delving into writing music without any picture at all. In this 3-part series, we will dive into James' output for the concert hall, including his orchestral fantasy, "I would plant a tree," "Violin Concerto," and his sextet "They have just arrived at this new level."
